Favorite Winter Finds – Amazon

You probably recall from Winter in Bavaria post earlier this year that layers are your best friend so I’m here to help you with your winter layer accessary search by sharing my faves with you–

Carhartt Women’s Rib Knit Fisherman Beanie – Beanie’s are wonderful during the winter months. They help keep your ears warm, and that in itself makes a huge difference when the weather temps are low and the wind is killer. I personally love a fun, bright color, especially when going to a crowded place like Christmas markets, because the bright color helps friends & family spot me from a distance.

Oscillation Heater with Remote – This has been a game changer for me at work. Sometimes no matter what I do, I just can’t get warm again. Something about the winter months just hit me, and I need an extra boost of warmth to finish thawing out. This oscillating heater helps me not be miserable at work. I usually start my day with turning it on, and kicking on the timer for 3ish hours, so the heater turns off once I’ve thawed out and I’m about to head out for lunch. This same heater is also very light and easy to move whenever needed.

Winter Gloves – Touch Screen Friendly – I don’t know about you but my toes, ears and fingers always get cold first. You saw how I keep my ears warm above, but my fingers are always tough since not all gloves are created equal. What I mean by that is that gloves help so much, but that’s useless when you’re trying to take a picture, need to use maps or respond to a message and your glove doesn’t let you use your phone. All of that is no longer a problem for me since AJ got me these specific gloves in 2022 for Christmas. I’m not able to keep my gloves on, and still use my phone as needed.

SEALY Heated Blanket Throw – This is the latest addition to my winter faves. I finally pulled the trigger late last year and bought this blanket and it’s glorious. I got the standard size, and it has been exactly what I’ve needed these colder winter evenings. I have been able to just sit on the sofa with my iPad and work, while staying warm. Bonus: Luna LOVES it too, she sees it come out and insists on coming to cuddle.

Blanket Scarf – I stumbled across the world of blanket scarves in early 2019 on a solo trip to San Francisco. I had always wanted to go there, and never in a million years would have thought it would be as cold as it turned out to be. The wind by the bay is brutal and I was not ready for it. Luckily, I saw a super cute store, and found this blanket scarf that saved the day. Since then, I almost always pack a blanket scarf on every trip because of its versatility. I have used it as a scarf, a wrap and a blanket on the plane.

Fleece Lined Hoodie – Hoodies are great but imagine one with extra warmth added? I love my fleece lined hoodie, especially when I’m trying to get my steps in on an evening/early morning walk and don’t want a ton of layers. This hoodie is super warm, but not too warm. It’s wonderful paired with a beanie and gloves.
