As we all know, February was a shorter month, but it somehow still managed to set a new personal record for books read and I’d love to sustain that if possible.
Which brings me to my March reading goals-
- I’m aiming to read 15 books in March, despite expecting it to be a hectic month between work and a certification I’m aiming to wrap up.
- I’ll be keeping the 5 physical books goal because I still read physical books the slowest and would like to work on improving that, plus I have a ton of physical books on my shelves.
- And I’m still hoping to have all my book club books read on time to discuss, since I actually fell about 100 pages short on one of my buddy reads in February and am cutting it close for one of my discussions Thursday.
Upcoming planned reads:
- Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree – A physical read on my TBR list carried over from my February 2024 TBR.
- City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments) by Cassandra Clare – Also, a physical re-read that I didn’t get around to reading in February.
- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid – This one is long overdue and has been on my TBR shelf since North Carolina (2020) – Physical.
- Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, 3) by Sarah J. Maas – Is one of our Phi Mu Theta Gamma sub reads – Physical.
- Solito by Javier Zamora – This is my Gloss Book Club March Read – Physical.
- This Spells Love by Kate Robb – This will be on Libby Audio.
- Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood – Libby Listen.
- I’m Glad my Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy – Libby Listen
- Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll – Phi Mu Theta Gamma March Book Pick
- The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams – Libby Listen
- Thank you for Listening by Julia Whelan – Libby Listen
- Kitchen Confidential Updated Edition: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly by Anthony Bourdain – Friends, Travel & Postcards March Book Club Pick
Plus I’ve discovered that I really am a mood reader. So, outside of book club picks, I tend to pick a book that catches my attention depending on my mood. Then if it’s a series, I usually aim to finish that series back to back, so I can easily end up in a giant rabbit hole. Aside from that occasional set back, It has been extremely helpful to have an idea of what I plan to read each month to help me narrow down my options, ultimately saving me time picking, and giving me more reading time!
Interested in buddy reading, have a suggestions or would like to let me know what you thought of one of my TBRs, let me know below!
