June Reading Goals

I’m going to be honest, April was crazy, but I read one book total through the first few weeks of May as I was working on a certification. What’s worse is that June will either prove to be really good to me, or really chaotic as we approach our upcoming move back to the states.

So my June reading goals will be efficient this time around, with the sheer goal of catching up book club reads and series, regardless of the platform.

Upcoming planned reads:

  1. Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn (Throne Of Glass Series Book 5 & 6) – These will be a Tandem read in continuation with my Phi Mu Theta Gamma sub reads.
  2. The Paris Daughter by Kristen Harmel – I’ve managed to keep this on my Libby account, and I will hopefully use this as an upcoming listen for June.
  3. The Things we Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros – This was a past Phi Mu Read that I wanted to read, but missed.
  4. Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree – Just because I’ve been wanting to and just haven’t gotten around to since this is not a book club read.
  5. Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt- Also another Phi Mu book club read that I missed in May. I’ve heard great things about this read, and hope to join the club sooner than later!
  6. Expiration Date by Rebecca Serle – This is the June Phi Mu Theta Gamma main pick – so hoping to be able to patriciate in the discussions.
  7. First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston – A sub Phi Mu Theta Gamma read is the Reese Witherspoon Picks, and we’re starting with the January 2024 selection, It’s just taken me longer to start than I’d hoped.
  8. Blood & Steel by Helen Scheuerer- Last Phi Mu sub read that I want to start.

If I manage to catch up with everything above, I’ll be more than happy and finally back on track! I love reading, but enjoy the book club discussions more and it’s really sucked not being in the loop and able to participate the last few months.
