Winter can be a tough time to travel, between all the unknowns that come with weather and the shorter, gloomy days. So it’s up to us to stay positive and get creative with things to do in order to make the most of our time.
In London – I went and booked a few indoor activities, that allowed me a break from the weather. The Harry Potter Studio tour just outside of London and afternoon tea were high on my list. In addition, I opted for the tube to get from place to place, instead of just walking like I usually would. Even the outdoor markets, have covered shops so that helped too. Overall, I can confidently say there is plenty to do and see in London, that doesn’t require you to stand outside. Bonus is you have less crowds this time of year too.
Suggestion of things to do in the winter months (and year round):
- Harry Potter Studio Tour
- Afternoon Tea (just make sure to have the proper attire on)
- Bookstores
- Theatre Shows
- Shopping
- Museums
- Catheral
- Restaurants & Pubs
