February felt like it was never ending, then ended before I knew it. I’m still in denial we’re in March already. I’ll be honest, I know March started 4 days ago, but today is my March 1st. I needed the weekend to reset and relax–
The goal of February was to set boundaries and have a clearer way forward, despite the inevitable uncertainty that comes with life.
This past month, I managed to get about half way through my squat challenge, until I quite frankly forgot about it on my trip to Milan. I was also able to spend more time at home with Luna & Roxy, welcome AJ back to Germany after his time away in the states, and let go of half of my full time job, kind of.
February highlights were:
- Making pasta from scratch in an Italian nonna’s home
- Saving towards my savings goal
- Planning towards our future
- Reading an all time high of 18 books, in the shortest month
- Making my first [unplanned] pillow case
- Putting my mental health first
- Standing up for myself, even when others who should be, don’t
In March, I aim to prioritize family, sewing new designs, and continuing working on what makes me happy.
Which brings me to my goals for this month:
- 30 minutes of non-stop walking
- Water > sugary drinks. 1 soda per day
- Daily idkjacklyn.com posts
- Saving $2000 in 100 days – Continued
- Finish PMP Course – Schedule Exam
- Take my bag sewing to the next level
- Survive our next rotation at work
- Work on better communicating with my husband
- Post 2 YouTube videos
- Read all my bookclub books on time
