February Book Wrap Up – Reads, Ratings, Reviews

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 - This series just sucked me in, I couldn’t listen to it fast enough. Right when you think things got predictable, there was a shift and I loved the story.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – The last of the Lochlann Feuds did not disappoint. I enjoyed every second of it and hated to have it end.

⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was a Kindle Unlimited free read, which had potential, but just fell short. I didn’t love it, didn’t hate it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was a special story. During our trip to Sevilla my friend Amber told me about this story. When we got back, she gifted me a copy I was able to read with my team. It’s a kids story, so very very short, but the story was sweet and the memory is priceless.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – I just hoped that this series would get better, which it did. I’m glad I read book 2, as the story had potential. My only complaint, which applied to the whole series, was the typos.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – Just like book 2, I enjoyed following Sarah and her mate’s story. This sub story got me though, I wasn’t a fan of the antagonist, but I guess that just means they did their job.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This book made me sad, but then it redeemed itself. Leaving me want to continue with book 5.

⭐⭐/5 – I hated this book. The story was cringe, forced and overall just a waste of time. I wish the author just ended the story with book 4.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was exactly what I expected! Such a cute little story about a mid year university transfer, Andie, trying to find her way around a new school. While predictable, it was exactly what I needed in the moment!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was our Gloss Book Club February read. I really, really enjoyed it. The story was about two people, Alexis & Daniel, who’s paths cross, even though there’s a decade and extra zero’s in the bank account apart. The story was so sweet. I plan to read the next book in this series, and see how Alexis’ friends life turns out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was so cheesy, it was great. Two high schoolers are tasked with running their family Twitters and enter a grilled cheese battle. It’s worth the quick listen if you have the chance and need a break from heavy reads!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – I hands down love this series more after each read, Crown of Midnight had me on edge wanting know what would happen next and the end left me dying to start the next read. Luckily the next book hadn’t arrived yet, and I was able to keep pace with my sisters.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This story was about family and giving yourself a chance, even when you second guess yourself because of having a disability, Dyslexia. My favorite quote of this read was: “I think she knew that I struggled to read, that’s why out of all her grand children she taught me the family recipe, I think she realized I was going to need an occupation that I could manage, and cooking was what she knew, so she gave it to me.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – Clearly, I was searching for light reads this month and Mary Kay Andrews always comes through. This was a story about a family Christmas tree farm and their New York Christmas tree lot. Love, family and finding yourself is the theme of this read and It left me very happy.

⭐⭐⭐/5 – I had seen this novel around, but honestly, I wasn’t prepared for the level of spice it contained. This is about a chef and his daughter, and his young daughter. You can fill in the rest and be right.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – Elin Hilderbrand is awesome. She’s another comfort author of mine. This was a story about a rebuilt hotel in Nantucket, and a ghost of over 100 years stuck in the hotel. A secret hotel critic, work place competition and decades old history at The Hotel Nantucket.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was our February Phi Mu Book Club pick and If I’m honest, I wasn’t that excited to read this. Then my sisters read the first half, and I didn’t have the time to and it peeked my interest. Since then, I’ve seen this book pop up quite often, and when I finally had a chance to read it, I couldn’t put it down. I’m all for Lemon and Iwan’s story.

⭐⭐⭐/5 – After Tweet Cute this month, I figured I’d give Emma Lord another chance. Same level of cuteness, also revolving around high schoolers at a fancy school.
