March Book Wrap Up – Reads, Ratings, Reviews

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 - I really really enjoyed the first book of this duo, and although it was a book club read we were going to discuss, I couldn’t help but dive right into the second immediately. I liked this series a lot, and look forward to exploring more of this universe.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was a free Kindle Unlimited, that I stumbled across. Full disclosure, it may not be for everyone, but if you’re like me and able to compartmentalize, the storyline hooks you. The reverse haram side of it can be tough.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – Book 2 of this 12 book series, starts having storylines past the main group, which I enjoyed. The way Tara writes, actually makes me feel as if I was watching a TV show, where there is an overarching theme, but a major even that comes up and is resolved within a season, or in this case each book.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was a much needed romcom escape. I enjoyed the quick, easy read and would recommend to anyone needing a light hearted, read on falling in love in a quirky way.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – I actually red book two of the When in Rome series first on accident. Last year when I was in the states I found it in a bookstore and just read it. I rated book two: Practice Makes Perfect a 5 star read. Which made it worth going back and reading Amelia & Noah’s story.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – I actually pulled this up on my phone while sitting at a hair salon and finished it in the same seating. So this is a very quick read, and cute which makes since since it’s part of The Improbable Meet-Cute series. While we did get closure on this story, I would LOVE to see what happens next T & C.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – Similar to my reviews of book 2 & 3, this had it’s own storyline that kept me interested and wanting to know what happens. As long as you can get past the reverse haram part, I highly recommend this series.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – I love Ali Hazelwood, and will always give her reads a shot. This one, as always, left me happy and was just what I needed. You can never go wrong with Ali’s books.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was one of three books I picked up on my latest trip back to the states and while the cover is vibrant, It was not why I picked this read. I thought it would be a nice escape, filled with romance and character growth, which it did. I read it over 2 nights and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – I obviously know who Jeannette McCurdy was for a while now, and I’ve known she released a memoir for a while, however for some reason, this wasn’t a memoir I was running to read for some reason. No particular reason. But once it came up on Libby, and since it’s not too long, I gave it a listen and am happy I did. I didn’t love it, nor hate it, but I’m honored to have been given a peak behind the curtain of Jeannette’s life that made her who she is today.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This was the March Gloss Book Club read and I almost didn’t make it in time to discuss. Luckily our group pushed our meeting back a week, and I was able to listen to Solito. One thing I will say, is that regardless of your political views, It’s a great to follow this challenging journey of Javier when he was 9 years old trying to get from El Salvador, to Mexico and ultimately the states.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – I’ve been aiming to read the sequel to Lovelight Farms for a while, and I was finally able to. Just like in Lovelight Farms, I really enjoyed this read would recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 – This one focused on Annie, and took place in Texas which was a change of scenary compared to the previous books in this series that took place in Alaska & Romania. Another reason this series has kept me hooked.
